From the Highlands

An early Christmas -- two lovely packages arrived today! One from Jo in Scotland.

I've been fasinated by Scotland, particularly after seeing the cute indy film "Dear Frankie." (Yes, I watch lots of movies, but how else do you get to travel the world so cheaply?)

Jo sent me cute Scottish things like: a Scottish flag tea towel, magnets of Scottish words & phrases, books, Scottish recipes (unfortunately, I don't cook -- I'll have to see if my friend the chef can whip up something yummy with these goodies!), seeds, toffee, beads, a handmade bag, and some pamphlet of sights to see in Scotland. Lovely!
