Fabric galore!

So, I am the first to admit that I am not a crafty person. I have a bad, bad habit of buying craft items like beads or yarn, and then never doing anything with them. I'm positive that I've spent A LOT of money on craft items for myself, and it's all sitting in a bag in my closet. Terrible waste, isn't it?

Still, I can't help myself. All this recent shopping for all things fabric & crafty for my swaps, I just had to get these fabrics for myself. Lovely, aren't they? I really love the prints of vintage advertisements that my friend found for me. I'm determined that I will make something out of these, but check back in a year. Let's just say, it took me 10 months to knit my first scarf because I get easily distracted.

I'm hoping this week I'll have lots of exciting swaps to blog about. (Am I the only person to find using the verb "to blog" a little weird?) I'm waiting to receive packages from Portugal, Germany, Austria, and France. Just sent off my last packages to Japan & Spain today. Fun!

I totally understand that thing about unused craft items...I don't know for how long I've hoarded the fabric that I have while not doing anything with it!
Your fabrics are really nice, too! You could look for something really simple to make, like, something that will only take an hour or so - distractions will have a harder time then! :D

Thanks for the comments!!

Isa, I did get your package today, thank you! I love it all!

Barbara, that's a great idea...any suggestions or patterns? You know what, I don't have a sewing machine--I think that's my problem right there!
